The Maxx

The Maxx was AWESOME!! They were SO good and so much FUN. All of our guests commented on their talent and their ability to get the crowd involved. They played all the right songs, at the right times. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed having them at our reception. They made it the party we wanted it to be!! I would recommend them to anyone! And I can't wait to see them play again!

The evening's success was due in large part to everyone associated with The Maxx. They were absolutely great. Everyone danced, from the first song to the last song the dance floor was full.

I appreciate the professional job that they did and I would very much like to have them back for a future event.

Thanks again for for making my event a complete success. Can't say enough about that evening.

That band is awesome. It was one of the most fun shows I have ever been to. Granted, I had to be there as it was my wedding. I really appreciate y'all showing up. My wife and I hope we did not embarass the band too much with our behavior........Many thanks again, Ian.

The Maxx was absolutely wonderful! Everyone enjoyed their music and their performance which was so entertaining. The dance floor was packed the entire time they were playing until the very end. So many
people came up and asked who they were, etc. In fact we were so pleased that our son, Nathan Givens, and his fiance, Anna Austin, have just booked The Maxx for their wedding reception June 11, 2005! So we'll look forward to another great performance. In addition to their great sound, the band members were very professional and pleasant to work with. I'm certain the reception would not have been nearly as much fun without them! Thanks and we look forward to next June.

The band was EXCELLENT! Although our attendance was poor
(about 50 ppl) they played their hearts out and treated our audience as if there were hundreds of people there. In fact, it was the band members that actually saved my event from being a total flop. They worked hard to ensure the guests were entertained, kept them involved in the performance, encouraged them to stay on their feet and enjoy the music, and the diversity of the sets was fantastic. Just enough beach and old stuff for the adults with the right amount of rap and pop tunes for the students and younger crowd.

Just about everyone tried to thank them for an awesome performance and I got many requests to have them back for another event. Even the male streaker didn't break their stride! Yes, we had a student take full advantage of Nelly's "Its getting hot in here so take your clothes off" little ditty - much to the shock and humor of the audience AND band members. Oh well ... :-)

Thanks so very much for working with us, and I would like to have them back in Charleston sometime soon.

Two words - Simply Awesome! They brought the house down. I continually heard from our guests throughout the night and since our return from the honeymoon that they were the best wedding band that they had ever seen.
From the moment they started playing until the last song the dance floor was packed and it seemed everyone had a great time - to include all the servers and wedding coordinators who also commented on the band.

The Maxx made our wedding a memorable one and for that both Lindsey and I owe them (and you) our sincerest gratitude. I'd be happy to send a formal letter of recommendation or to speak with anyone looking for a personal reference.

Thank you again for helping to make our wedding such a huge success as The Maxx played a large part in the event! The only thing that troubles me now is to figure out the next time we're going to throw another party.... I'd love to book them again!

Yes, everything went perfectly @ our meeting. Everyone had a great time and The Maxx members were great to interact with the audience and get everyone up to dancing and having a Great time. I would also like to compliment the female vocalist... She was great and all the guys loved her!!!! As a result of the performance and great entertainment, as you know, we've ask to book them for our end of the year meeting/Christmas dinner. We look forward to another wonderful time with The Maxx for the 3rd time

The crowd was international. The grounds of a Virginia country estate filled with the friends and elder relatives of the bride and groom. In a center of it all was THE MAXX -- filling the dance floor. One by one guests asked me "where did you find this band"?!!!! as Outkast's "I like the way you move" and Nelly's "Ride with Me" blared in the background. One of my friends called THE MAXX a concert quality performance. They were simply magnificent -- really really great. Their tape does not do them justice. I am a very picky bride who looked at 60 bands before I settled on THE MAXX. Tremendous energy and a range from Hip Hop to 80's classics equalled one incredible party.

Besides being in a league of their own musically, they have represented themselves as the most courteous, professional, punctual and easy to work with band that I have ever interacted with. For this reason alone, they soon became my personal favorite.

The Maxx exceeded my wildest expectations and not only delivered a terrific show but were very responsible, personable, and serious in their commitment to make our Gala one to remember.

These guy’s are the best kept secret in America! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality entertainment.
