What Can I say besides thank you? The Maxx is the most professional, easy-going, FUNKIEST and grooviest band I have ever had the privilege to work with. Excellent Work!! See you next year in London

We just got back this morning from our Honeymoon and one of my first items on the checklist was to touch base with you. As always it was a great time with The Maxx and we are hearing the same message from all of our guests that they had a blast and the dance floor was on fire. We knew from the first day of our engagement that they were the perfect choice for our wedding. Also, I wanted to thank you for your help, my mother-in-law (Jill) and the wedding coordinator (Sandra) both were very complementary on how professional and easy to work with you were. As I like to tell anyone who asks me about The Maxx, they force you to have a good time. It is that simple.

You were first on my list this morning! Honestly, the band was fabulous! I don't know how to tell you how outstanding they were! Just to paint a picture for you....the crowd was circled around them for the first set and they were so mesmerized, they wouldn't eat...they just watched...mouths opened!!! Then, they danced and danced. Here is the best compliment, my daughter Lane and her friends said that the band was so great they were going to get them to come to Athens for some of their parties. They were so interactive with the crowd as well. My Mother who is in her 60's, said it was probably the best band she had ever heard and my stepfather wanted to hire them to come play for their friends...so, they entertained all ages and simply made our party a HUGE success....no one wanted to leave when the band left the stage....now, we were tired and ready for those kids to leave!
Anyway, I am thrilled...and Sonny Williams was there to see it for himself. Thanks for everything Tony and please pass on my sincere compliments to the band, along with Diane Andrews, Sean Norman and Ann Crawford's thanks!

They did a great job! Everyone at the party and staff at the William Aiken House raved about them. The bride and groom didn't want to leave the party while they were playing! A good time was had by all. The band was great to work with and I hope we made it comfortable for them!

You mean you haven't heard yet????? Mr. Dimmitt extended them 45 minutes longer, extended the bar and then had the Hotel keep the Luna Room open so they could go in there after and party some more, it was a long night! Remember when you said most people when they come in they usually don't dance right away well let me tell you about this group of people they didn't stop dancing or drinking, we couldn't get them to sit down to eat the salad, the servers had to tell them to be seated so they can serve the dinner before it got cold. It was the best party of the year from the comments!

Everyone wanted the name of the band, so I guess that says it all. You delivered more than could have been expected. All had a great time, the music was varied, with something for everyone, and, as you and Steve promised, The Maxx knew how to get the crowd going and keep them up through the entire reception. Thanks for a fantastic and memorable evening. (I really want to send a better note to pass on to the band, but it may be a while.)
The Maxx was a huge success. We had a wonderful time and numerous comments from our guests on how awesome they were. You were right about them being able to feel out the mood of the guests and pick songs accordingly. We have nothing but praise for them and can't wait to see them perform again.

They were fantastic. Everyone loved them and I continue to get rave reviews from those in attendance. I noticed at one point that everyone in the ballroom was on the dance floor while they were playing (no one sitting down, etc.)! They are true professionals who know how to entertain a crowd. They sure sound as good as anyone I've seen, as well.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you! I have to say that The Maxx absolutely MADE our reception! They were incredible and no one wanted the night to end! I literally could not have asked for a more perfect band-- they had SO much energy, and they got everyone so pumped up about dancing and having a good time! They played until almost 1am, and people were still chanting at them to play "one more song!". We had the best time! I cannot say enough good things about The Maxx. I just feel so blessed that we were able to have them at our reception. Jeff and I are already planning our five-year anniversary party, and we definitely want The Maxx! Thanks so much for everything, and please relay our appreciation to every member of The Maxx!

They were fantastic! The dance floor was packed from the very beginning until the very end. Two-thirds of the guests were 50 and over and they were out there in force along with the younger crowd. My 94 year-old dad was even caught dancing. Many, many comments from the guests about how wonderful the Maxx was. I hope that I am invited to a wedding that hires you guys so I can enjoy them again.

FABULOUS!!!! I had a wonderful report today from the coordinator who spent alot of yesterday with the brides' family, and all were thrilled to death!! This particular coordinator had heard me talk about the Maxx, but had never worked with them, and she said that from now on, they were at the TOP of her list. She said they were a dream to work with, so nice and cordial, and very accomodating. Plus they kept the dance floor packed! She loves them almost as much as I do. I knew they would love them....and they did. Please thank Rod, Raney, Rock, etc.. for me, and hope to see you all again soon.
THE MAXX was a smashing success! Everybody loved them. Don't be surprised if they get requests for more parties up here in Virginia!

Tony, words cannot describe how fabulous The Maxx were. They kept it going all night. I have had so many compliments. Everyone thought it was the best band ever and they were!!!! There was a lot of interaction with the guests and we were all sorry to see it end. They did a great job assembling the Boston College students and playing the fight song which as you know was one of my priorities. We were so lucky to have you. My sister who tried to get you for her wedding in Charleston and couldn't was even more disappointed now. I have a great picture of the leader with the bridesmaids, I will have my son forward it. Please tell all the members of the band , they made the wedding! and I am so grateful and appreciative.

Even my 65 year old mother was out there singing the "Hey Ya" song on the mic. I couldn't believe it. I think when the bride does a split--stone cold sober, I might add--that the reception was a success. My sister said, "The Maxx really took that party to the Maxx." Our guests kept dancing until way after the groom and I had left. The Maxx was also very polite. One time the lead singer came up to me and asked me if it was OK if they played the Electric Slide because some guests had requested it. I said, "Give My Peeps What they Want!" And he certainly did.
Also, in case other potential clients are wondering, The Maxx is not just for younger audiences. I'm 32 and the groom is 46, so our party of 250 was made up of half folks in their 30s and 40s, and half folks in their 60s and 70s...we're talking everyone was dancing. People I didn't know would ever dance were dancing. One of my engaged friends wants to hire the Maxx for her wedding. I said to book 'em fast 'cause they are SMOKIN' HOT. I plan on throwing my new husband a 50th birthday in a few years so we can dance to the Maxx again. "With this Ring" is our song now forever!!! Thank you, thank you for making my wedding day the best day of my life! Party on!

They are a wonderful , talented Band and were very nice people. They put on an outstanding family show in very difficult conditions. I will write a letter of highest recommendation as soon as I take a nap and get recharged. ( this is just a few comments for now to assure you how pleased we were)
I went to see Harry Connick, Jr. last night and he did a wonderful show also, but I was missing The Maxx's high energy. I have never seen so many Baptist dancing. We were able to find joy and celebration even in the mud and I attribute allot of that to the positive attitude of the band.. We want to find another occasion to have them back as our guest. Mary and Christian called from their honeymoon and couldn't stop talking about the band. That was actually their first dance ever.

They were WONDERFUL!!! Everyone had the best time ever, mostly thanks to The Maxx. They sure know how to get the party going and to keep it going!! I was thrilled. Please tell them thank you very much. Also, they were just nice, polite, etc. people and they looked like they were having fun which must be hard to do when this is what you do night after night.
